Love+One International is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves and loves Uganda’s children and families. Through constant communication with strategically placed community liaisons, Love+One helps secure emergency and ongoing medical services for children suffering from serious conditions ranging from malaria, HIV, and tuberculosis, to malnourishment and more. Love+One’s mission is personal. The organization was founded by Mike and Suzanne Mayernick after the couple adopted their three-year-old daughter, JosieLove, from Uganda. JosieLove had urgent medical needs prompted by malaria, tuberculosis and being HIV positive, and the Mayernicks learned quickly that she was not alone. By utilizing a comprehensive spectrum of support spanning critical care, rehabilitative care, and community care, Love+One is on a mission to transform the hearts of children and families through life-saving medical care, family preservation and sharing the love of Jesus.
