About Tori Hope Peterson
Tori Hope Petersen is a sought-after national speaker and is the bestselling author of Fostered: One Woman’s Powerful Story of Finding Faith and Family through Foster Care. Through her speaking engagements, Tori inspires audiences across the country to be resilient, hold onto hope, and realize they have the power to change the world right where they are - by loving the people in front of them. Tori is a leading foster care advocate and has been featured on Good Morning America, Essence, and many other publications, sharing her story of being a former foster youth and overcoming to serve others. Through her powerful testimonial, Tori has equipped and empowered countless churches, organizations, and individuals to serve the underserved. In 2020, she founded the Beloved Initiative, a nonprofit that seeks to change the narrative for youth in foster care and serves individuals and communities who have experienced poverty, marginalization, and abuse. Tori currently lives in Defiance, OH, with her husband Jacob, their son, daughter, one young adult adopted son, and Tori’s biological sister.
